Industrial Torsion Springs
Torsion springs are employed in devices that require torque. Torsion springs, like Tension springs, provide resistance to twisting or torque action and are typically close-wound with low initial tension.
Torsion springs hold systems together; the wind’s tightness is proportionate to the energy stored within it. Tension must be released from the spring in order for it to release the stored energy. Torsion springs work by twisting their ends parallel to their axis.
Torsion springs generate torque when twisted or deflected. A simple torsion spring is straight, but any bends or shapes can be produced as needed.Double torsion springs are useful when you need twice the force or an even distribution of torque.

Torsion Spring Applications:
Torsion springs are used in a variety of applications and can rotate either clockwise or anticlockwise. Torsion springs are used in a wide range of products, from simple everyday items like clothespins to heavy-duty components like naval hatches:
Single & Double Torsion Springs
Torsion springs are classified into two types: single-bodied and double-bodied. A double torsion spring is made up of one set of coils coiled on the right hand and one set of coils coiled on the left. These coils are joined in parallel, usually with an unwound part between the winds. The portions are designed independently, and the total torque is the sum of the two.
